Free Mt Baker Meaningful Movie: Paris to Pittsburgh

From coastal cities to our country’s heartland, National Geographic documentary, Paris to Pittsburgh, celebrates how people are demanding and developing real solutions to the climate emergency.

As the weather grows more deadly and destructive, many of us aren’t waiting on Washington, D.C. to act.Set against the national debate over the United States’ energy future — and the explosive decision to exit the Paris Climate Agreement — 'Paris to Pittsburgh' captures what's at stake for communities around the country and the inspiring ways Americans are responding.

Mount Baker Meaningful Movies is screening this award winning documentary, at the Mt. Baker Community Clubhouse, at 2811 Mt. Rainier Drive South on Thursday, March 28th at 6:30 pm. Doors open at 6:00 pm.

After the film, there will be expert speakers to answer questions and offer practical policy solutions, including Jamie Margolin who is a national youth leader in the climate movement. The South Seattle Climate Action Network and other local groups will also provide info tables with opportunities for action.
