General Description

On November 28th there will be a free showing of Tribeca Film Festival sensation Command and Control. Produced by American Experience Films | PBS, Command and Control chronicles the long-hidden story of a deadly accident at a Titan II missile complex in Damascus, Arkansas in 1980. Based on the critically-acclaimed book by Eric Schlosser, the chilling new documentary exposes the terrifying truth about the management of America’s nuclear arsenal and shows what can happen when the weapons built to protect us threaten to destroy us. 

The screening will be followed by a conversation with special guests:

  • Eric Schlosser, Writer and Producer of Command and Control 
  • Joe Cirincione, President of Ploughshares Fund and nuclear policy expert
  • Dr. Bruce Amundson, President of WPSR
