Economic Inequity & Health Task Force Member

Magellan Rankin (she/they) is a dual MPH/MSW student at Johns Hopkins University and the University of Maryland, Baltimore. While living and working in Washington State for almost a decade, they supported children and families through social service work in children's behavioral health and housing justice while also conducting racial health stigma research. Magellan has been an active member of WPSR and its Economic Inequality and Health Task Force since 2024.

Josie Tracy, Ph.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist in private practice in the Seattle area with a specialty in treating substance use disorders. She and is passionate about social justice, especially issues affecting people with substance use disorders and incarceration histories.  Josie has been a member of WPSR's Economic Inequity & Health Task Force since 2022.

Gleb Sych, DO is a family medicine resident physician based in Olympia, Washington. He has been a part of WPSR's Economic Inequity & Health Taskforce since 2023.

Dr. Anjum Hajat is an Associate Professor in the Department of Epidemiology at the University of Washington. Her research focuses on several social determinants of health such as wealth, employment and neighborhood disadvantage. She has been a member of WPSR’s Economic Inequity & Health Task Force since 2024.

Dr. Charles Mayer is a Family Physician in Seattle and has served as Co-Chair of the Economic Inequity & Health Task Force since 2021.
