What Will I Gain from Attending? 

  1. Get the information you need to be knowledgeable and comfortable talking to your peers, your friends, neighbors, family, and elected officials about the impacts of climate change and the public health imperative to address it.

  2. Learn about solutions and strategies in Washington State to take action on climate, the health benefits of doing so (co-benefits), and concrete ways you can lend your unique voice. 

  3. Learn strategies for effectively advocating for climate-protective policies, including tips for compelling public speaking, writing, and storytelling. 

  4. Get ongoing support from WPSR, including a network of peers, resources to learn more about climate’s effects on health, timely opportunities for targeted outreach and activism, and skill building for effective advocacy
